Drumming is undeniably one of the oldest forms of music — so old in fact that we can trace it as far back as there were things to bang on (read: forever). Consequently, drumming — and in turn rhythm — has become the backbone of everything that has evolved from the first humans to the latest Ableton session. With so much history and influence it’s about time we gave the drummers some!
With all due reverence, respect, and experimentation we will be presenting Generations of the BEAT, a two-day Drummer’s Festival complete with an all-star lineup and accompanied by our magazine issue, guiding you to everything you ever wanted to know about the legendary, innovative, and current realm of drums.
